Call for Abstracts

The following guidelines are related to abstract submission:

  • All abstract for oral presentation should be written in either Malay or English, and must be no more than 250 words in length;
  • The title, author(s), affiliations, summary of research aims, approach, and key arguments/findings must be included;
  • Each participant may submit one abstract only as a presenting author (either oral or poster). Should a participant wish to submit more abstracts, an additional fee of BND 50 will apply for each extra abstract;
  • Student registration fee implies that only one abstract can be submitted under the term that the registered delegate (student) will be the first author. No changes in the first author will be permitted then;
  • It is the submitting author’s responsibility to ensure that the abstract is accurate and well written;
  • Only abstracts submitted by authors who have paid in full for their conference registration and additional fees (if any) will be published in the Conference proceedings;
  • Any potential bank charges incurred will be borne by the participant themselves;
  • Abstracts should be submitted via the “Submit Abstract” section (under  the “Registration & Payment” tab) of this website before 10th December 2017;
  • You will be able to replace your submitted Abstract at any time until the deadline for Abstract acceptance. Abstracts received after that date will not be evaluated.
