Dr. Haziq Jamil's research visit to London School of Economics

Dr. Haziq Jamil (Mathematical Sciences) recently made an impactful visit to the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in London. Engaging in a research collaboration with experts from LSE’s Department of Statistics, Dr. Haziq showcased his expertise in the field of spatio-temporal analysis, particularly in the context of property prices in Brunei Darussalam.

During his visit, Dr. Haziq presented his latest research at the Social Statistics Seminar, where he engaged the audience with his talk entitled “Spatio-Temporal modelling of property prices in Brunei Darussalam.” His presentation highlighted innovative approaches in analyzing property market trends and their spatial and temporal dynamics, providing valuable insights into the real estate sector of Brunei.

Moreover, Dr. Haziq’s visit was also marked by a significant meeting with Ahmad Zakwan, our distinguished Chancellor Scholar currently studying at Imperial College London. This interaction not only strengthened academic ties but also facilitated the exchange of ideas and knowledge between FOS and LSE, further enriching the academic experience of both institutions.
